The Goat's Mustache is Cameron Diaz

I really want to meet the person responsible for casting "Community," because he or she is a genius. It's no surprise that Joel McHale and Chevy Chase are funny, but Danny Pudi is a real find as the intense, unfiltered Abed, who appears to have Aspergers. As sketchy as that sounds, there's nothing pitiful or mean about the way Abed's quirks play out on "Community" — especially since most of the characters are odd ducks. I definitely see shades of my son J. in Abed, and it's great to see that represented in a genuinely funny way.

For the record, J. gets a kick out of Abed's shenanigans, and the above clip is one of our favorites. Major props to my friend V. for turning me on to this show.

W.I.P - Audi R8 Pt.3

The Audi R8 is one step closing to completion. At the moment, the body had been painted Pure White from Tamiya paint. It had been wet sanded and now awaiting for further polishing. Engine had been painted and assembled in position. In the next few days, I will try to finish the interior and then will have the whole car finalised.

But wait! There's MORE!

Here are a few follow-ups to some recent posts.

I ranted that certain actresses just keep getting part after part. One I cited was Kim Raver, who was in 24 and 52 other series. Here she is pictured above starring in three at once. I see that she’s just joined the cast of GREY’S ANATOMY. Seriously. How many network presidents did she pull from burning buildings?

The two most viewed posts from the archives: The Traci Lords Family Show and HOUSE HUSBANDS OF HOLLYWOOD. Combine them and I think you have the next great reality show. Although I imagine the network would replace Traci Lords with Kim Raver.

On my rant about Social Network Rejection, my daughter/pig lover, Annie reminded me of another indignity. You’ve befriended someone. Unbeknown to you they’ve un-friended you. And then they pop up as a “Suggestion of someone you might know”. Ouch!

Remember way back in March that Phillip Seymour Hoffman movie I was so geeked up to see that was supposed to open in June? And then August? And then September? It’s finally opening next week. I guess the studio thought it was so good it ultimately wanted to move it closer to Veteran's Day.

HOUSE HUSBANDS OF HOLLYWOOD looks like it’s getting picked up for a second season. This time it might be set in Austin. New title? HOUSE HUSBANDS OF HOLLYWOOD WHO COULDN’T FIND WORK SO THEY SOLD THEIR HOUSE, MOVED TO AUSTIN AND HAVE ENOUGH MONEY TO BUY A BIGGER HOUSE AND LIVE COMFORTABLY ON THE ALIMONY THEY SOON WILL BE GETTING.

Earl Pomerantz is recovering nicely. He greatly appreciates your good wishes.

I did a piece complaining about Time-Warner Cable’s customer service. Recently I received this comment. The coward who wrote it didn’t leave a name (of course). But I guess we have to assume that he’s a Time-Warner Cable employee. Here’s what he writes.

It's called job security you freaking idiots! We (technicians) don't fix your problems all the time because if we fixed all the problems, we wouldn't have jobs.

Plus, most of the trouble calls I go to are people who don't know how to use a freaking remote control, or just want a extra one.

If you actually READ the information that we give you, it tells you how to operate the darn box. If you "never received the information kit", go to the mall and pick it up.

No, do not make an appointment to change your box. That is why you have your service centers (The mall). Everytime someone asks me to change the box, I tell them to go to the mall. They always get upset because now they actually have to DO something. Oh my gosh! Poor you!

Before you ask for a HD box, at least know what HD is, and don't ask for one just because your friend has one.

You people are freaking morons, yeah... "YOU PEOPLE".

Hey, Time-Warner, is this the kind of attitude your support staff has or is he just a giant asshole?

Completed 1:24 Chevy Camaro Z28

Finally the Camaro had been completed. Took me almost a month of my break time to completed this car model. This is also the first time I uses several new techniques for my car model; which is the chrome line and decal setter. I purchased a piece of chrome sticker from an online model store and had it cut and molded to the window frame, front and rear screen. Result were acceptable. Then I finally got to use the "decal setter" which I purchased long time ago(probably last year). It's a long process so I will explain it on my soon to be finish Audi R8. For now just enjoy the pictures, comments and cristism are more then welcome.

Chrome Window and Front Windscreen can be sceen here

Chrome Rear Windscreen

Without the help of decal setter, the front decals will not "mold" to the shape of the bonnet.

....so as the decal on the rear and spoiler

Teacup Pigs

It seems the new rage in domestic pets is pigs –- teacups pigs to be exact (although not really exact because they’re only the size of teacups when they’re born. They grow to be teahouse pigs.). They’re clean, odor-free, very little shedding, won’t destroy your house (always a plus), affectionate, loyal, and won’t bark. Very few burglars are scared off by “oink oink” but what idiot gets a pig for security anyway?

They live to be about fifteen or twenty years and they can be trained to do things like ride skateboards and play golf so they’re perfect for bringing into bars. And if you’re really a sick individual you can teach it to walk around with an apple in its mouth.

Just like a dog they need exercise. You take them for walks on a leash. Think of how much better the Diane Lane movie would have been had it been called MEN WHO LOVE PIGS.

There are downsides to owning a teacup pig. Finding a kennel may be a major challenge. Very few have sties. Getting your folks to pig sit may take some arm-twisting. And apparently they have trouble negotiating stairs. Hitting a golf ball farther than Greg Norman is no problem but two steps between the foyer and living room is a major gadilla.

The big problem is they eat like, well… pigs. Meat, vegetables, Hostess anythings, dog food, even Popeye’s Chicken – you name it, they’ll gulp it. So you have to be careful to limit their consumption otherwise your cute little domestic pet will use your Chihuahua for dental floss.

My daughter, Annie would like a teacup pig. And she’s enlisting your help.

I am currently accepting donations to "Annie Levine's Teacup Pig Foundation." I promise to take good care of the little oinker. I'll walk him, cuddle with him, take him to the market, feed him roast beef, and take him "wee wee wee" all the way home. I'm currently deciding between naming him "Kosher" and "Traif," and would also like your opinion on the matter. Here are some reasons why I should own a micro pig:

1) They're adorable
2) I won't have the biggest nose on my block
3) We'll be Best Boars Forever
4) My dad would get a grand-pig
5) I heard George Clooney has one

How could you need more reason than that?

Love,
Annie

Michelle and Me!

Well, this is pretty doggone cool. The folks behind Mrs. O, the lovely blog devoted to Michelle Obama's style, have written a book, "Mrs. O: The Face of Fashion Democracy" — and yours truly is quoted in it! I've written hundreds of articles, editorials and essays over the years, but this may excite my mom more than anything I've ever done.

A while back, Mrs. O readers were invited to offer their thoughts on what makes the first lady a style icon. I wish I could remember exactly what I wrote, but it was something about how she helped make fashion seem more accessible. I understand the fantasy aspect of clothing design, but a lot of the stuff coming down the runway has nothing to do with the average American woman's needs. OK, Michelle Obama isn't exactly average, but her clothes are both stylish and grounded in reality. She has her pick of designers, but she also wears clothes from J. Crew, Target and White House/Black Market.

This is probably as close as I'll ever get to Michelle Obama (or Michael Kors, included in a full Q&A), but I'm stoked. Thanks, authors!
